Eliza Gilkyson - Dark Ages

Dark Ages is surprisingly upbeat although the record pulls no punches in terms of the times we find ourselves in. Working in collaboration with her producer/multi instrumentalist for her last two records, Don Richmond, and calling on some of her Austin compadres and fellow New Mexicans to accompany her, this record showcases Eliza in her strongest and most compelling voice, as always covering the widerange of the human experience, following the threads of darkness and light, hopeand beauty still to be found even in "the dark ages.
