In 1930s Berlin, young Joshua Gottlieb (August Maturo) dearly loved his German Shepherd pup Kaleb, but had to give him up among the increasing encroachment's on his family's freedoms. Wandering the streets after escaping his new owners, Kaleb was taken in by the SS as an acceptable attack trainee... but once assigned to a camp, he'd have a fateful reunion with Joshua.
